Applaud but not standing, take selfie politely, and say ‘keep fighting PM Prayut’ are stated in a schedule of a conference between PM and government school’s teachers.
The schedule of the conference ‘PM meets teachers,’ which will be hosted on 13 May 2016, orders participants to say ‘keep fighting PM prayut’. The schedule has been widely shared on social networks.
“When the PM enters the conference room, everyone shall give him a welcoming applause (but not standing). When the PM sits at the sofar, stop applauding. Then, at 3.15 pm, the PM will end his speech, the moderator says ‘thank you,’ everyone shall shout simultaneously ‘keep fighting PM Prayut’ (there will be a hand signal),” the schedul states.
The conference is apparently, a meeting between government school teachers and Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha, the junta head and PM.
The schedule is available for download on the website of Secondary Educational Service Area Office 1.
The schedule also states that while the PM is walking in, the participants shall not stand up or raise their hand to take a photo. The schedule only allows participants to take a photo politely in a sitting position.
After this has become news story, Maj Gen Sansern Keawkamnderd, a junta spokeperson, told media on Thursday that the conference’s organizers do not have to please the junta that much, adding that the point of the conference was just to create a common understanding between government and teachers, reported Matichon Online.
