The Civil Court has summoned red-shirt activists for making fun of the Court after its ruling that the demonstrations of the anti-government People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) were peaceful.

The Civil Court issued an order on Mar 14, summoning Daranee Kritboonyalai, Sudsanguan Suteesorn and Picha Vijitsilp, organizers of the activity, to attend a hearing on April 21 into whether the action was an offence against the Court.
The symbolic activity was held on February 21 in front of the Civil Court on Ratchadaphisek Road after the Civil Court ruled that the emergency decree could not be used against the anti-government protesters, reasoning that they were rallying peacefully without weapons. About 100 red-shirts joined the activity.
They also laid a wreath with the message “For the Injustice of the Civil Court”.
Daranee said that during the red-shirt demonstration in 2010, the group urged the Court to revoke the Emergency Decree, but the Court rejected the request, saying that the Court could not violate the government's administrative power.
