There is a report from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs this morning that the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) instructed the Passport Division to revoke a passport of Pavin Chachavalpongpun, a well-known Thai scholar who is an associate professor at the Center for Southeast Asian Studies at Kyoto University. The cancellation of Pavin's passport is due to his failure to report himself to the NCPO after he was ordered to summon twice. Eventually as arrest warrant was issued against him on 13 June, although he has not charged with any crime.
